This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, store, and protect information through erinreyehair.com. Erin Reye Hair is a small, independently owned business based in Ukiah, California.

📅 Appointments & Consultations
When you request an appointment or consultation, I collect the information needed to help you and manage your visit. This may include your name, email address, phone number, selected service, appointment details, hair history, goals, and anything else you choose to share.
After booking, you may choose to add the appointment to your own calendar. This optional action sends the appointment details to the calendar service you select. It does not give me access to your personal calendar.
I keep the email address included with your booking so I can confirm and manage your appointment, answer questions, provide service-related information, and maintain appropriate business records.
🛍️ Product Orders
When you place a product order, I collect the information needed to process the order and communicate with you. This may include your name, email address, phone number, billing information required by your selected payment method, purchased products, payment status, and order history.
Erin Reye Hair does not offer shipping. Product orders placed through this website are for local pickup.
I use booking and order information to provide the service or product you requested, communicate with you about it, maintain necessary records, and keep the website working properly.
I do not sell or trade your personal information.
💌 Optional Email Updates
Booking an appointment or placing an order subscribes you to optional email updates.
You can unsubscribe at any time by replying “unsubscribe” or by using the unsubscribe link included.

If you leave a comment, I may collect the information entered in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser information for spam detection and website security.
If an avatar service is enabled, an anonymized version of your email address may be used to determine whether your account has an associated profile image.
📺 Consultation Photos & Media
If you send or upload photos for a consultation, I use them to understand your hair, your goals, and the service you are requesting. Photos may contain hidden details added by your phone, such as the date, time, or location where the photo was taken.
I do not publicly post consultation photos without your permission.

I use this general information to make booking, shopping, and finding information easier. Appointment details, consultation information, payment information, and text conversations are not used for website analytics.
This website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. You can limit Google Analytics using your browser’s privacy controls or Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
⏳ How long I keep information
I keep information only as long as reasonably needed to provide services, manage the business, respond to questions, maintain records, and meet applicable tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and legal requirements.

🔐 Payment Data, Cards on File & Removal Requests
💳 Card information is encrypted and stored by my payment processor. I do not see or store your complete card number.
🤝 A valid card on file is required to request or confirm an appointment. This supports the cancellation and rescheduling policy.
You may request removal of a saved card in either of these ways:

⌛️ Card-removal requests are normally processed within three to five business days.
🚫 Removing a saved card does not cancel an appointment or waive fees already owed under the cancellation and rescheduling policy.
💬 Direct Text Messages
I do not use automated texts or operate a text subscription. If you text me, I may personally reply about your question, appointment, consultation, order, or pickup. I do not sell your phone number or share it for advertising.
