Who This Ritual Is Designed For

This service is required for all first-time haircut guests so we have time to consult, talk through your likes, dislikes, hopes, dreams, fears, and what has or has not worked for your hair in the past.

The more clearly, openly, and authentically you communicate your preferences, the more dialed-in I can make your cut, styling plan, and home routine.

This is also required for returning guests with high-density hair, curly hair, or anyone making a major transformation that requires heavy refinement. Even if it is your 30th haircut, curly and thick hair often need this longer block to keep the session stress-free, meticulous, and fully customized.

The Finish

A blowout or diffuse dry to reveal your true, organic texture. Hot irons are skipped, but you can always select a Thermal Style from the add-ons menu.

If your hair is highly prone to tangling, please detangle in advance. You may also want to check out The Master Reset if buildup, matting, dryness, tangling, or product overload are part of the issue.

If you book the Extra-Time Haircut and we end up not needing the full buffer, I’ll happily honor the standard Signature Haircut price. It’s always better to have the time and not need it than to need the time and not have it.
